deplore its devastating effects on people’s liberties, securities, and willingness to play the economic game
by its rules. But Korea’s and the Philippine’s GDP now exceed the pre-crisis level and in most of the Asian
and the Pacific Region the indicators of financial and corporate outputs are now back to pre-crisis times.
